De Dakota Makoc̣e - This is Dakota Land
Support cultural and environmental healing in Imniẓaska this Earth Month!
Make a gift this April and help us reach our goal of $10,000 to ensure our work in Environmental Education, Urban Restoration & Stewardship, and Cultural Connections & Healing continues. This Earth Month, all those who contribute $50 or more will be eligible* to receive a limited Fall 2025 Edition of our “De Dakota Makoc̣e” lawn sign, which can be picked up at our Earth Day Clean Up at Indian Mounds Cemetery on Saturday, April 19th (see details below).
*These signs are available in limited quantity while supplies last. Giving a donation is not a guarantee that you will receive a sign.
Your gift helps us to:
Restore and protect sacred lands and waterways in Saint Paul
Provide programs that center Traditional Ecological Knowledge, Dakota Lifeways, and Indigenous Land Stewardship
Establish community medicine gardens
Center and grow inclusive and accessible spaces in the outdoors for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and folks with disabilities
Take Action!
This Earth Month, we invite you to join us to do this restoration and stewardship work in partnership.
